Port St. Lucie, FL—St. Lucie Medical Center will open an Emergency Room at Darwin Square in the fall of 2015 to better serve its patients living in western Port St. Lucie. St. Lucie Medical Center’s Emergency Room at Darwin Square will be built with special consideration for pediatric and geriatric patients and their families.

The facility is located on S.W. Darwin Blvd., near the corner of S.W. Port St. Lucie Blvd. and S.W. Darwin Blvd. The offsite ER will provide the surrounding community with immediate access to experienced, board certified emergency room physicians, state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic equipment, a laboratory and will offer a full range of emergency services.

The St. Lucie Emergency Room at Darwin Square is committed to delivering comprehensive emergency medical services to the residents of western Port St. Lucie, 24/7. The over 11,000 square foot facility, houses 11 private treatment rooms, one trauma room and one triage room. Additionally, the facility includes a full service laboratory, a pharmacy and advanced imaging equipment - including a 32-Slice CT, Ultrasound and two X-Ray units. Emergency transportation will be available to patients requiring in-patient hospital care.

Our physicians are board certified in emergency medicine and are committed to providing our patients with the highest level of care and personalized attention. Our multidisciplinary team of caring professionals, including nurses, respiratory therapists, radiology and laboratory professionals and pharmacists, all work together to provide quality care to our patients. St. Lucie Medical Center’s Emergency Room at Darwin Square will provide the same level of care as the main campus emergency room located on Tiffany Ave.
