Heart and Family Health Institute Family Medicine Faculty Practice
The Heart and Family Health Institute Family Medicine Faculty Practice is a partnership with St. Lucie Medical Center.
Palm Beach Consortium for Graduate Medical Education (PBCGME) Family Medicine Residency Program, in affiliation with St. Lucie Medical Center, provides adult, pediatric and adolescent primary care services at the Heart and Family Health Institute (HFHI) Family Medicine Residency Faculty Practice. Our mission is to provide quality medical care and, serve as a training site for post-graduate physicians who specialize in Family Medicine.
Our Family Medicine Residency training program is dedicated to becoming your patient-centered medical home. We provide excellent patient care along with offering superb clinical training for medical residents who are becoming Family Medicine physicians. Because our physicians are training new physicians, we are current on the latest medical advances and able to provide a full spectrum of care.
A resident is a doctor who has received a medical degree from an accredited medical school and who practices medicine under the supervision of a fully licensed physician, usually in a hospital or clinic. At HFHI Family Medicine Residency Faculty Practice, you will be cared for by a medical team consisting of a physician and a resident physician who will be your primary care providers in conjunction with mid-level providers.
HFHI Family Medicine Residency Faculty Practice accepts a wide variety of insurance payers. For patients without insurances, we offer a sliding fee schedule depending on your income level. A payment plan can be made by calling the business office to discuss your financial situation.
