Primary care physicians in St. Lucie

St. Lucie Medical Center offers access to primary care doctors in two separate ways: our hospitalist program and the Heart and Family Health Institute. We ensure that every patient receives the care they need during their stay with us and that each patient receives the necessary follow-up care to continue on the path to recovery.

To learn more about primary care services, please call our Consult-A-Nurse® team at (772) 742-9060.

If you are an inpatient staying in our hospital, you may receive care from one of our hospitalists. A hospitalist is a type an internal medicine provider that works solely in the hospital and does not care for patients on an outpatient basis. Our hospitalists at St. Lucie Medical Center act as a central point of contact for patient care.

Hospitalists communicate and coordinate care with specialty providers, as needed, and communicate with patients' outpatient primary care physicians. The goal of our hospitalist program is to streamline patient care and increase patient satisfaction.
